If a poly water tank does not use a flexible hose connection, then the tank warranty will be voided.
The flexible hose kits are easy to install and also provide additional flexibility when it comes to the locating the pump or other pipe work near the tank.

Being made from brass ensures that fitting has many years or trouble free use. The outlet is generally connected to a ball valve which can then manage water coming from the tank at the water tank wall.
The 25mm outlet fitting is a threaded and it penetrates the tank wall. Included in the fitting are a backing nut and a washer. The washer seal ensures the tank does not leak.

Provides 40mm (1.5″) Male BSP and 32mm (1.25″) Female BSP threaded connection. Ball valves are available separately if required.
Solid brass construction for a heavy duty and reliable fitting, with EPDM washer. Watermark approved, and tested and certified to AS 3688.
Back nut has a reverse (left hand) thread to help prevent the fitting coming loose when connecting valves and/or pipework to the fitting.
Important: ensure there is sufficient smooth, flat surface area surrounding the fitting location, to enable the flanges of the tank fitting to rest flat against the tank wall – both on the inside and the outside. Placing the fitting too close to a rib, curve or similar feature in the tank wall will cause the fitting to leak. Overall flange diameter provided in the diagrams above.
